jan 6 on open road & weather conditions good with no warning & msg displayed “POWER FAILURE” Vehicle has 42K miles & regular service by Lincoln Dealer. This is scary as HELL knowing i have traveled many trips out west in Rockies – even to top of Pikes Peak 15,000 ft. If this failure had occurred then – all dead as no brakes or power steering. Does anyone have any info OR maybe NTSA?

Had that happen to me but it was after I came out from grocery store on Ford Fusion 2016 Hybrid. Towed it to dealer. Dealer found a million codes but not anything wrong so they reprogrammed computer and tightened all of the electrical connections for the hybrid system. They figure it was a loose connection somewhere. Never happened again. Just a fluke. Sounds similar to your situation.

Possible problems – bad battery all Lincolns are power hungry I had an intermittent power failures on my 2016 MKZ check the alternator for issues, throttle body, ECU, Bad ground connection. Suggestion if it is a come and go thing have your phone ready and take video of the error message on the screen if the dealer won’t help then call Lincoln concierge. They may say a picture or video isn’t good enough and it ended up being that because I had an intermittent backup camera problem and they had to hook it up to their computer it failed in me in the dealer lot and I sat in the quiklane idling because I knew if I shut it off it would work again. I sat there 45 min and the service manager took a picture of the error message on my screen. Be nice and take control of the situation they end up normally folding
