2021 Explorer Hybrid ECO mode statistics not working. Driving in “ECO” mode and after shutting off the vehicle, an “Eco Summary” is displayed on the dash (i.e. Acceleration —%
    Deceleration —%
    Speed —%

The data never changes, no matter how I drive. 🙂

Does anyone else have this problem?

I’m also frustrated that the vehicle resets to “Normal mode” every time you start it.

Yes, I have a 2021 Ford Explorer Hybrid, and the ECO Summary Statistics are all “–” when the engine is turned off at the end of the ECO mode trip. I am working with my Ford dealer to resolve.

Per owners manual, Normal is the default mode after each ignition cycle.

As of 3/28/23, this problem has been fixed. Here is the exact statement from the service technician:
Verified concern vehicle has been in for this concern multiple times. When using selector and selecting ECO mode and driving vehicle then shutting vehicle off on the IPC it is supposed to show different stats about how you drove. This does not display and only shows zeros and dashes. Contacted hotline and was told that the IPC data was corrupted again and was instructed to uninstall FDRS and delete all user data then reinstalled FDRS which I did then use module programming module recovery to program IPC then after doing PMI with the IPC configure the module all of which I did then road tested and concern is gone.

I hope this helps you. If you need further info, please let me know, I can refer you to my dealer and technician who repaired this issue.
