Just received my 2022 F150 platinum, which was ordered through Long McArthur Ford; First, let me state, that I have been a Ford buyer since I was 15 and I’m now 72, but I was truly hurt and disappointed in the product. The truck looks great but I feel that my 2019 was better equipped.
    On December 31, 2021, I placed my order for a 2022 Ford F150 platinum, with a 3.5 Ecoboost, 701A package.
The interior was to be Carmel and the 180 Degree on the seats (was my dream), the aftermarket was a hardshell bed cover, spray-in bed liner, and a couple more items. The truck was delivered to my residence on 8/6/2022 and I was disappointed that it didn’t have the 36-gallon fuel tank, the seat was canceled (by Ford) on 7/25/2022 according to the Long McArthur dealership, no more automatic windshield washer, and a couple of small items not worth mentioning. I felt that my dream truck was taken for granted; I feel that this truck was the first that broke my heart as a Ford in not getting what I ordered.
I will keep the truck only because I love the Ford but next time, I don’t know.
I did get the spray in bed, the mud flaps, and the bug guard and window shields.
Loved the color, but the seat was my dream, and a 36-gallon tank, my my my. But for 78k, I thought it could have been just what I or

I ordered a 2023 F-150 Platinum with the Carmelo seats.
Last week I received a confirmation email from Ford that they have my order. In the order summary, in the email the seats listed are the Black / Medium Dark Slate Premium Nirvana Leather Seating Surface with Black Tuxedo Stripes not the Carmelo seats I ordered.
I contacted my dealership to have the seat order corrected and they sent me a copy of my order they sent Ford which clearly shows the Carmelo seats on the order.
I assume that Ford is altering the orders and not informing the customers. If the Carmelo seats is an item that is having a production problem Ford should be informing the customers.
It’s very disappointing to have the dealership inform a customer that the truck they ordered finally arrived and when you arrive at the dealership and see it to realize it’s not exactly what you ordered.
