My F250 has been built since May 20. It was supposed to be delivered June 17-23, just received notification that its now July 17-23. No explanation as to why. The dealer says to call Ford, Ford customer service says to call the dealer. I’ll drive to wherever its located and pick it up.
That sounds like some BS run around Ford is giving you. My Truck was built last Monday and shipped on Thursday. They told me it’s supposed to be at the dealer between July 25 to 31. My buddy got his new Bronco with in 2 1/2 weeks from the Build date. You can drive a tractor trailer across the entire country in a couple days. Makes no sense why they are making you wait 2 months
So sounds like approx. 8 – 10 months from start to delivery? Looking at the 450 XL Super Duty single cab dually no options.
I ordered mine on December 2nd 2021 (King Ranch ultimate package) and it was just delivered on July 7th. It really depends on what packages and options you get. I had to drop the retractable cover and the 5th wheel prep because they said it would add 5 MORE months to the build.
if you’re getting a bed liner of bed cover, those are not done in the same factory where they are built (I’ve been told) and can delay delivery but up to 45 days
No bed liner or cover, I’m not even getting carpet on the floor. I’m hearing the dealerships are deciding which ordered and built vehicles are getting shipped. Which then it becomes a losing battle if you start questioning why it hasn’t been delivered.
I went down to the dealership, and cancelled my order. Will hang on to my 270k miles 2015 Platinum SRW for the time being. I went and bought me a 2021 Mustang Ecoboost, for a daily driver. Will wait for all this to normalize, then find me a used dually, for towing, at a practical price.
Hi guys, i ordered my 2022 F-250 Lariet on 2-22-22 and i received an email from ford yesterday saying that its scheduled for production the week of august 15th. Until yesterday i havent heard anything. Hang in there, sucks but it will be worth the wait!
For the record. I had the black appearance package to start then changed it to the BAP without the bedliner. Otherwise got most options like sunroof, Upfitter switches, leather/heated and so on. Dealer told me a year to get the truck from time of order. So it should be sooner than that
My F250 Lariat was built the week of July 20th and was shipped July 24. It’s arrived at the dealer on Tuesday. Going to go pick it up tomorrow morning, can’t wait
I ordered my F350, Lariat, 6.7 diesel, blackout package, with the fifth wheel prep and spray-in bed-liner around March 15. Since then I have deleted the fifth wheel prep and spray in bedliner off the order. I was originally quoted by the dealer 8-12 weeks. I have seen nothing and the dealer has seen nothing for updates. How far behind is Ford? I also live in the Nashville, TN area, can I go to Louisville, KY and pick the truck up when its done??? Inquiring minds would like to know.
I recieved an update that it has been shipped. I’ve seen on other forums that wait times vary. My invoice says Rail, so I have no idea where its sitting at this point. Dealer says Ford know, Ford says the dealer knows. Once again I’m sitting on my hands with no idea of a delivery date, could be by July 23rd as was stated in the last email.
I ordered a F 250 Lariat in August 2021 Dealer Ron Clark Motors says he is in the dark and knows nothing 11 months and still no word when they they will build Very frustrating How can a company say they are doing so well and their share price is up but they cannot tell you when they will build a vehicle
