2023 F150 carpet cutouts

I just picked up a 2023 F150 Platinum Hybrid with the Black Appearance Package, love the truck so far, I’m wondering what the three cutouts are far down by the door sill carpet? You can see some plate below the cutouts? Almost looks like its meant to be that way for some reason.
