I ordered a 2022 Bronco Sport at the end of December and after a couple of reschedules, is supposed to go into production on 3/7. If that happens, when should I expect delivery here in Northern California? My dealer is telling me it may be 5-6 weeks from that date, really? Does anyone have input or experience with this?
Thanks in advance!

March 4, 2022 at 9:51 am #118129papakonaParticipantThat’s crazy! I’ll stop complaining now.
March 4, 2022 at 1:21 pm #118169yorkiepeopleParticipantI AM NOT TO HAPPY ABOUT IT, OTHER PEOPLE ORDERED THEIRS ABOUT THE SAME TIME, AND RECEIVED THEM ALREADY. I don’t know how their system works. Hope you get yours soon.
March 14, 2022 at 8:17 pm #118946tina22ParticipantOrdered ours March 7th–right before the cutoff for ’22 orders. The salesman said we will get ours this year. I’m thinking this fall-Sept. ? possibly earlier. Base model-Sport. No fancy extras. Simple to build, he said. We’ll see. Patient. 2.3 litre is a GREAT Durable engine–had a precursor to it in an Aerostar 5 speed. Outstanding service.
March 16, 2022 at 7:11 am #119065papakonaParticipantI didn’t hear about the order cutoff. According to the Ford website, mine started production on 3/12, so about 11 weeks after I ordered it, so maybe you’ll see yours sooner than September.
March 17, 2022 at 4:43 pm #119304tina22Participanthope everyone gets theirs sooner than later! Lots of factors outside of Ford’s control are in play unfortunately. Russia provides about 70 percent of the neon gas needed for “chip” production I’m told, as an example.
March 24, 2022 at 8:09 am #119698papakonaParticipantTo update my post, my car was finished on 3/16, shipped out on 3/28 and delivery from my dealer in the SF Bay Area is expected between 3/30-4/5.
March 26, 2022 at 9:38 am #119804yorkiepeopleParticipantThey say now mine will go into production week of april 25. I hope so. glad yours is on the way
March 26, 2022 at 10:52 am #119805papakonaParticipantGlad you have a start date. If delivery happens as expected, I’ll have it about 3 weeks after it actually went into production. Looking forward to getting it!
April 18, 2022 at 2:40 pm #121934yorkiepeopleParticipantProduction date went to 1st week of May now, have a trip planned in June, hope it gets here, I’m tired of the wait
April 19, 2022 at 8:28 am #122050papakonaParticipantOnce mine was finished, it took 2 1/2 weeks to get to me in the Bay Area because there is a fair amount of logistics and scheduling involved. When it go to the local terminal, it took a few days longer than it should because there is a shortage of truck drivers.
Once you get it, you’ll be happy to have it. The more I drive mine, the more I like it!April 19, 2022 at 9:45 am #122060yorkiepeopleParticipantI”m glad you are happy with it, I can”t wait to get mine
April 19, 2022 at 10:20 am #122065yorkiepeopleParticipantIs everyone out there that ordered their Bronco Sport charged the same amount that was on the original order form?
April 19, 2022 at 12:22 pm #122126papakonaParticipantThe sticker price generated for my car was $500. higher than when I ordered. When I picked up the car, I told the salesperson the original price is what I ordered from, not the newer price. He went to talk to someone and came back and said they could apply a factory offer of $1,000. off, even though that offer did not include the Bronco’s. It probably depends on the dealer on whether they’ll do something like that, but it’s worth it to ask or even insist.
