Ford Sync and CarPlay don’t work.

Hello everyone,

I have a 2016 Ford Fiesta and an iPhone 6 and I’ve searched the web for an answer and gotten nowhere. When I sync my phone up, I get audio just fine, but I don’t get apps always. And when I do, I only get 2-3, the app catalog, FordPass, I heart Radio and SOMETIMES Pandora. When I hit find additional apps, such as when I have Waze or Sygic running, I ALWAYS get “no additional apps found” I thought this may be a lightning cable issue seeing as it’s not an official cable, but I wrote that off seeing as those other apps show up usually. As for CarPlay, I hit the speak button like it says and nothing happens. What could be the reasoning behind this and is there a fix for this?
