I have ordered a mustang which will be delivered around August 2023. I would like to know that given the number of changes required to be made to accommodate right hand drive that the centre console has remained as a left hand drive configuration.
The only significant change mechanically that appears to be required is that the handbrake lever would need to be moved to the right hand side of centre.
When driving a manual car the cup holders cannot be used. This is why I chose the automatic gearbox. The hand brake is also awkward to use having to reach over too far.
I understand I must accept this but given the popularity of the Mustang in RHD countries I do not understand that this has not been changed.
Any feedback is welcome.
