When V5.0 came out Ford Authority was gushing about what a great upgrade it was. I have to wonder what they have been smoking, or how much they got paid for that fluff piece.
The new App is a neutured version of what was a great tool for Ford Owners.
No longer can we see in near real time where our vehicles are at.
There is no way to refresh location.
There is no longer a fuel gauge in the new app.
There is no way to add service records for DIY maintenance and repairs.
There is no maintenance schedule.
There is no trip planning.
There is no way to check for extended warranty info.
I’m sure I’m missing some others features.
The Google Map doesn’t show properly when phone is set to dark mode, this is the only app I have an issue with.Ford Authority, do you care to explain why you believe this all adds up to a greatly improved app?
