ParticipantMaybe Farley should start in the shipping department and fire a bunch. Trucks sitting for weeks on end after being built waiting for a transport is irresponsible. Apparently those in charge of shipping do not monitor shipping logistics once the truck is driven out the production door. I guess Ford thinks once it’s out the door it’s not their concern.
Just a piss poor way to run a business that says theirs’re there for customers. I’m tired of asking when, It’s been 8 weeks now since built just sitting. I get a standard answer when I call “shipping delays” and the next weeks dates are given “unless a shipping delay”
This has not been a positive experience with ford. Watching other forums mine is not an isolated case.

ParticipantI’m with you, Harvey. I special-ordered my F250 in February 2022. It was finished being built on 28 September 2022. First delivery lie was 18-28 October. Second delivery lie was 14-20 November. Third delivery period, we have yet to see if it is a lie, is 13-19 December. The truck has been sitting on ramp 1K at the Kentucky truck plant since 28 September. Two and a half months!!! One would think that a special order truck would have priority over trucks made to sit on dealer lots. But, NOOOOOOOO!
If I was CEO of Ford, I would immediately fire everybody in the shipping end of the company and replace them with competent shipping-experienced people. Whenever I call Ford to ask, “when is my truck going to ship?” all I get is the old supply chain, supply chain, supply chain answer.
I sure hope this third delivery period is correct! I NEED TO HAVE THIS TRUCK!

ParticipantI hope the previous posters have their trucks by this date! I read about the delivery delays and realize my situation is the same ! My F150 was ordered in August 22 and build date was November 22, it’s sitting on a lot in Michigan! (1-23). I don’t understand how a business runs like this. My dealer told me that he has only one F150 on his lot at this time (1-23). Maybe soon! ……………. And the delay continues!

ParticipantAnother unhappy lifetime Ford buyer here. Ordered F150 on August 12, 2022.. dealership told me max, three months! Well, it’s January 6, 2023 and still waiting for delivery to dealership. Mind you, this thing has been built and completed on Nov 12, 2022! Freaking sitting in Dearborn MI at a ramp, unbelievable! This wait has become personal and I’m looking hard at GMC trucks considering switching from my old favorite..that seems to be tanking for the past couple of years..Farley is NOT the answer at FoMoCo!!!

ParticipantWe’re looking at canceling our order also and buying something off a lot but not a Ford product. ours has been sitting on the ramp to be shipped since September. No one at Ford cares

ParticipantI was notified on 2/22/23 that our Escape hybrid had been shipped. It ia going from Louisville ky. to Valparaiso In., thats about 250 miles. I just got a text saying it is due to arrive at the dealer on March 16th.
Over 3 weeks from Kentucky to Indiana, come on who are you kidding. Something isnt right? Any opinions?March 24, 2023 at 12:45 pm #157359RichVanO
ParticipantUPDATE: I finally took delivery of my F250 on 28 JANUARY 2023. Eleven and a half months after ordering it, and four months after it was built. The shipping delays cost me upwards of $3500. With such terrible shipping operations exemplary of Ford not truly caring about delivery of their product, it is no wonder they are losing so much business and money.

ParticipantOur Escape arrived at the dealer today. 13 months since it was ordered and almost 6 months after it was completed

ParticipantOrdered a F350 Oct 23rd? the very first day you could order it. Was confirmed by Ford. Stated the build May 3 finished May 4. Allegedly shipped May 6. Still not delivered! Cannot even get a delivery date! How is this possible? I think the STEALERSHIP sold it off!! Cannot get a number for the Ford Regional Rep so I can get a real answer!! I can go buy a GMC that I looked at today since they actually have them on the lot and for sale!!
Really lost the appeal and excitement of buying a new truck. Probably going to fix up my old one and tell the STEALERSHIP to pound sand if it ever shows up!!

ParticipantFord is no different than most large companies when it comes to customer service and I consider giving accurate shipping status falls under customer service. Large companies are making record profits. One way to increase profit is to cut back on expenses. In my opinion, customer service is the last thing you would want to reduce and/or provide a horrible experience. Wake up Ford! Providing strong customer service creates loyalty. If I believe what I’ve been told, my Transit Trail Van was completed 7 weeks ago, but the shipping status is all over the map.

ParticipantMaverick ordered Sept 20, 2022. Shipped Sept 15, 2023. Currently sitting at the rail yard in Spokane less than 5 hours away. Delivery already bumped 3 times. How is it acceptable for a company to release a product to a contractor and have no idea when it will be delivered. FoMoCo apparently believes that treating customers like mushrooms is good policy.
