Has anyone heard if Ford will introduce the Expedition Hybrid in 2023? I recently saw an article here in Ford Authority about the 3.5L Powerboost hybrid engine possibly being tested in the Expedition. I think that this would be a great option for consumers that want better gas mileage but don’t want to transition into a full EV.
2022 Ford Expedition Hybrid Spied Testing For The First Time
From what we know right now, an Expedition hybrid is not in the cards… at least for this generation.
It’s a strange decision, given that the F-150 Hybrid / PowerBoost is already out there.
Also, the spy shots linked above are not of an Expedition Hybrid. It ended up being a regular ICE model with EPA exhaust tips.
