I took my Explorer to the dealer yesterday and they called me. Seems there is a model H and a model J for the rear climate control. They have a bunch of model J but the model H they do not have and Ford has put a hold on that model. My vehicle requires the model H…so I guess I will have to continue waiting….

I received a recall notice for this yesterday on the Explorer I purchased in late May. Service appointment is set…so not too much longer for mine.

I am also interested in when the rear climate controls might be available and added to vehicles that had them not included for delivery.
