Sounds simple enought when you say disable CarPlay. When I looked at the settings on the Edge it didn’t seem quite simple. I didn’t make any changes to the sync settings of the Edge because I was unsure of what I was doing.

And just because the iphone is “the best-rated consumer electronics device for a decade”, it doesn’t make me like them any better. It reminds me of everything computer wise being geared toward Microsoft. I rarely use Windows and turned down the opportunity to own an iphone. I prefer my android and Linux for my day-to-day computing. It gives me the impression that certain things are being forced on me whether I like it or not. That is just my vent for the day.

I use an android phone and can ‘t stand my wife’s iphone. It seems that iphone’s make everything harder to do. I sure don’t like the idea of it taking over my auto display. It reminds me of anything computer related always assumes that it involved some version of Windows. Annoying to say the least.
