Sounds familiar. Here in Thailand I ordered a Mustang GT Premium w/ power package 1 as advertised by Ford Thailand. That is NOT what I got. While it appears to be an actual GT Premium the power package was changed by Ford Thailand and has nothing to do with power. It seems that Ford Thailand changed it advertisement after I ordered. On top of that Ford Thailand has no parts for Ford performance, only available from the states and between postage and customs cost an arm and a leg, as did the GT. We have a saying here among us expats, This is Thailand, TiT. No longer the Land of smiles but certainly the land of lies.
I’ve got one coming next week. At the Ford factory in Bangkok right now doing what ever they do. I’ll know more once it is here in Udon. One thing I do know, paid 3 times what it would have cost in the states. Customs yes and typical Thai mark up.
