ParticipantFirst of all why would Ford have a recall because you have an engine misfire? The coil pack and sparkplug on cylinder 4 may not even be your issue since it was changed. A bad fuel injector can also cause a misfire and give you the same coil. As far as cool and consumption they only cause of this is a leak in the system. Faulty water pump or head gasket can be caused of the leak. At 95,000 miles this sounds like a common maintenance issue for any make or brand automobile. Have a competent Ford mechanic diagnose the issue properly.

ParticipantNot sure about the F150 but I ordered my F250 last December and was told 4 to 5 months to get it. Ended up taking 8 months to get it.

ParticipantHope you contacted Ford and also a Lawyer.

ParticipantMy F250 Lariat was built the week of July 20th and was shipped July 24. It’s arrived at the dealer on Tuesday. Going to go pick it up tomorrow morning, can’t wait

ParticipantMy buddy had the exact same problem with his King ranch F-150 he had less than 20,000 mi on it. They tried a few different things it ended up putting a brand new engine in it because of oil consumption. It is a known problem and should be covered under warranty

ParticipantThat sounds like some BS run around Ford is giving you. My Truck was built last Monday and shipped on Thursday. They told me it’s supposed to be at the dealer between July 25 to 31. My buddy got his new Bronco with in 2 1/2 weeks from the Build date. You can drive a tractor trailer across the entire country in a couple days. Makes no sense why they are making you wait 2 months

ParticipantCan’t believe you didn’t get a build date yet, When did you order? I ordered my F250 Lariat on Dec 9, 2021. I can understand your frustration.

ParticipantWell just received the second production date change. Originally it was week of June 27, then changed to week of July 18 now just changed to June 20. So actually earlier which is surprising.

ParticipantI received the same Email last night. They changed my production date from the week of June 27 to July 18

ParticipantWell I ordered mine December 9 2021 and got an email last week that my truck is going into production the week of June 27. Not sure how long it will take to build and receive. I know my buddy said his Bronco was shipped about 2.5 weeks after his build date, but is still waiting for delivery. I’m hearing anywhere from 1 to 2 months people are getting them delivered to dealer after build date, but not sure if that’s true or not. I’m guessing I’ll be getting my truck by end of August or early September.

ParticipantI ordered my super duty December 9 and recieved an email March 12 that my truck is scheduled for production the week of June 27. I know my truck had a major delay because of the spraying bed liner and fifth wheel prep package. I was called by the dealer back in February that if I deleted those two options I would have gotten earlier build date. But the whole reason I ordered the truck is because I bought a fifth wheel camper and I wanted the prep package.
