Ford V8 Powered Custom Limo Is Absolutely Wild And Up For Auction

We've certainly seen our fair share of wild and crazy automotive builds over the years, many of which are based on Ford models of all kinds. That includes everything from a Ford Mustang transformed into a vintage looking Zimmer Golden Spirit convertible to a 1995 Ford Thunderbird fitted with '50s style shoebox bodywork and many others in between. As for this custom limo, well, it isn't actually based on a Ford vehicle, but it is powered by a Blue Oval V8 - and it's absolutely wild in every conceivable department.

Up for auction at Cars and Bids, this crazy machine is officially known as a Custom "Warley" Limousine, a one-off build designed in the Neoclassic style, borrowing cues from pre-war classic cars. It was built on top of a stretched Mercury Grand Marquis frame, to which the builder added that retro bodywork, finished in 10-layer two-tone paint with a folding luggage rack, two soft tops, a Mercedes-Benz style grille, and 15-inch wire wheels.

Inside, one will immediately notice that the front and rear compartments are completely separate, each with its own soft top, though both are equipped with some rather luxurious features. Those include Rolls-Royce Connelly sourced leather, teak wood trim, Wilton wool carpet, and separate HVAC systems for both. There's also a 6.5-inch display in the rear compartment, along with a DVD player, two camera systems, and a Pioneer audio setup.

Mechanically speaking, this wild limo is powered by the naturally-aspirated Ford 460 cubic-inch V8, which is cooled with an aluminum radiator and electric fan, and it's mated to a four-speed automatic transmission.

There is a little bit of wear and tear on this wild build, as one might expect given the fact that it's 20 years old, but there are only 500 miles showing on the odometer. Given how massive and outlandish it is, perhaps that shouldn't come as a surprise, but we imagine that someone out there will be happy to give the quirky machine a new home.
