Question: What do you get when you take Ford’s Motorcraft parts brand and apply it to other, non-Ford makes?
You get Omnicraft. The Blue Oval’s Customer Service Division has just launched its first new brand in 50 years, with 1,500 new parts engineered for non-Ford vehicles. Soon, the automaker hopes to grow that catalog to 10,000 parts in 30 different categories, but for Omnicraft’s launch, they’ve focused on the most commonly-requested items: things like oil filters, coilovers, starters, and wearable brake items.
“Omnicraft is a significant benefit to any vehicle owner who needs parts or to have their vehicle serviced,” says Ford Global Customer Service President Frederiek Toney. “Now, owners of non-Ford vehicles have access to quality parts at a competitive price, backed by Ford and installed by Ford’s world-class certified technicians.”
The move should also prove beneficial for dealers, who can now broaden their service divisions’ customer bases by covering a much wider range of vehicle models. Omnicraft parts are available at Ford and Lincoln dealers, and will become available at other Authorized Distributors throughout the year.
