Greenlight Collectibles has launched a bevy of Blue Oval-based diecast models in recent years, giving Ford fans plenty of cool and unique pieces to add to their collection. Many of these diecasts are also based on various Ford models from TV shows and movies, which is great for folks that have a soft spot for those kinds of things, too. Now the list of movie-inspired Blue Oval diecast models is expanding yet again, as Greenlight Collectibles just announced that it will create and sell a version of the Ford Bronco that starred in the smash hit film known as Top Gun: Maverick.

In this recent post on Instagram, Greenlight Collectibles announced that it will be releasing a small version of the custom Ford Bronco from the movie Top Gun: Maverick in both 1:18 and 1:64 scales, though it’s unclear when such a thing might actually be available or how much it will cost, at least, for now. What we do know is that the Ford Bronco from the movie is a first-generation model that’s been modified in a variety of ways, in more of a modern-day restomod style than anything else.
This is just the latest of many Blue Oval-inspired additions to Greenlight’s collection, however – one that even includes the Ford-powered Next-Generation Delivery Vehicle (NGDV) produced by Oshkosh Defense for the United States Postal Service (USPS). Greenlight also launched a full collection of models from the animated South Park series recently, and several of them are based on various Fords, too. That list includes a 1999 Ford Crown Victoria owned by the character Mr. Mackey, the 2015 Ford Transit otherwise known as the “Mr. Fix It” service van in that series, and another 1999 Ford Crown Victoria that’s used by the South Park Police to patrol those animated streets.
