Ford Motor Company is recalling select 2017 Ford GT models over a hydraulic fluid leak previously repaired incorrectly under recall 18V707.
The defect: in affected vehicles, the rear wing valve block may leak hydraulic fluid.
The hazards: a hydraulic fluid leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
Components: rear wing valve block
Affected vehicles: select 2017 Ford GT models built between August 11th, 2017, and October 4th, 2017.
Number of vehicles affected: 2
The fix: dealers will update the dynamics control module software and replace the rear wing check valve as necessary, free of charge.
Owners should: wait for communications from Ford, which will begin August 7th, 2025. The Ford reference number for this recall is 25S74.

Doubt it's only 2 vehicles affected, all 2017 Ford GT owners should insist that their vehicles should be checked for this hydraulic fluid leak.
