Ford Motor Company is recalling select 2025 Ford F-150 PowerBoost hybrid models over an issue with the seat belt warning system.
The defect: in affected vehicles, when the driver or passenger’s seat belt is not buckled and the vehicle is started, the audible warning chime may not activate as intended. The hazards: an audible warning chime that fails to alert occupants of an unbelted seat belt can increase the risk of injury during a crash.
