Recall are now job #1.
Used to be quality was job #1.
WTF FORD?
This is exactly why after 6 Explorers I said enough is enough, its literally a joke now how many times a Ford vehicle will be recalled. My 25 Tahoe has been flawless and build quality is far superior. GM has their issues but nothing like Ford.
Maybe we can ship jim Farley to Stellantis?
WOW!!!!
Well,
my next Taurus will NOT be the one made in China and imported here!
I will be looking for a 2014ish used N/A V6 with low mileage.
The N/A V6’s last forever, I just hate the internal water pump.
After faithfully buying Ford’s for 37 years I’d had enough and switched to Toyota.
This is exactly why.
And I’ll NEVER go back.
Nearly 40years of buying only Ford’s but now I’ve switched to Honda. Honda’s build quality is light years a head of Ford.
I didn’t leave Ford they left me.
Ford board members do you ever read any of these post? Well if you don’t maybe it’s time you start! You need to find someone else to run ford.
after 33 year ford employe and 28 year retire and 65 years buying ford products. I just purchased a kia sportage i will never purchase a ford product again.I have told my family no more x plans shop foreign.
After Ford couldn’t diagnose why our Expedition would occasionally cut out at highway speeds, I through in the towel. Washed it, vacuumed it, and then sold it to their sales department. Transmission? Fuel pump? Who knows. Whatever it was, they couldn’t figure it out for a serious and dangerous problem. One and done with Ford. Reliability is Job #45837.
As a girl who’s blood has always run Ford blue, this breaks my heart. My daddy always had a Ford and I followed his lead. I had many an argument with Chevy lovers and always said if there is anything but a Ford in my driveway, you know I have company. These past several years have changed Ford. Quality is no longer job #1. After this latest repair of my 2019 Ford Taurus and finding out there are class action lawsuits because of the water pump problem, I am done. Ford knows they have a design flaw that causes catastrophic failures and doesn’t even warn owners, much less actually fixing it. Ford had a tank of an engine from 1997 to 1999 and then it all started going to hell. I guess they didn’t have enough aftermarket sales or something. Maybe I will just find my old 1978 Grand Marquis and keep it running until I die, at least Ford and Mercury knew how to build vehicles then.
Why do Ford haters even come here?
GM is having large numbers of fuel pump module failures, but they just keep replacing with the same defective part. No recalls and no fix. At least Ford is proactive.
