Indecision and unpredictability can put drivers in extremely dangerous situations out on the road. Take this Ford Focus, which aborted a right turn then decided they actually needed to hang a right at that intersection anyway. Or this Ford F-150 weaving through lanes, apparently unsure of where they actually needed to be. A recent dashcam video shows the driver of a Ford Escape that apparently couldn’t make a decision, almost taking out an innocent motorist while they were at it.
Hosted on r/IdiotsInCars, a popular Reddit community dedicated to blasting stupid drivers, the video shows a white Ford Escape crossing the intersection in front of the cammer (the party recordign the video). The cammer turns left to follow the Escape, and that’s when things start to get weird. The Escape is taking its half out of the middle of the road, brake lights illuminated.
The cammer wisely slows, because the next thing the Ford Escape does is hang a hard right, directly in front of them. The Escape appears to be interested in entering the parking lot of a car wash to the right, then forgets that idea at the last second, still sitting directly in the cammer’s path.
But it doesn’t stop there. The Escape slows again, eyeballing a different entrance into the parking lot. They slow again, right in front of the cammer. The driver of a Ford F-150 that was apparently traveling behind them got sick of their antics and calmly passed to the left, signaling before executing their turn – a stark contrast to whatever the Ford Escape is trying to accomplish.
[OC] Near miss- She couldn’t decide if she wanted a car wash (sorry for bad cam placement)

The Escape continues on its way, braking once as it passes by the car wash its driver apparently couldn’t decide if they wanted to visit, and then the video cuts. As one commenter put it, “Are you sure they didn’t want a T-Bone?”
