Road rage isn’t ever worth it. Just take this Ford Mustang, which ended up in a creek following a run-in with an angry driver, or a Ford Explorer that hammered a solid barrier after bodily forcing a fellow motorist out of their lane. A fourth-gen Ford Mustang found itself in harm’s way after encountering the obviously pissed-off driver of a Dodge Durango, which almost slammed into the cammer after making a risky, pointless move.
The cammer appropriately shared the dashcam footage of the incident on the Reddit community r/IdiotsInCars. They are sitting at a light, out of everyone’s way, watching a long line of cars cross the intersection heading toward them. Suddenly, out of the blue, a red Dodge Durango appears, and they’re very much outside of their lane. To the Durango’s passenger side is a fourth-gen Ford Mustang – the subject of the pickup driver’s ire.
As the two vehicles come into frame, it almost appears that the Dodge driver, well, rams the Ford Mustang. It’s not clear what led to the confrontation, but the Durango obviously feels that the Mustang is in the wrong. They swerve at the muscle car, causing it to swerve to avoid being struck – although the two vehicles may have made contact heading into the intersection.
The driver of the Durango appears to finally notice that the cammer is right in front of them. They slam on the brakes, yanking the SUV out of the way without much grace or finesse to the maneuver. They barely miss hitting the cammer’s vehicle and carry on their way. Hopefully, they didn’t continue to give the Mustang driver a hard time and let it go, but there’s no telling with people like that.
That just goes to show – you can be doing everything right and still get taken out by someone else, so keep your eyes on the road at all times, even if you’re stopped at a stoplight.
