Venture 18 U4 Ford Bronco 4400 Revealed With RTR Racing Styling

RTR Vehicles has a soft spot for the Ford Bronco. Mastermind Vaughn Gittin Jr. recently took a four-door Bronco and saddled it with the Godzilla V8, turning it into a verifiable off-road powerhouse of an SUV. While plenty of Bronco fans would love to take that SUV home to call their own, they’ll never get the chance to acquire the life-size off-road racer – but HPI Racing has enthusiasts covered, offering an RTR Racing inspired remote control Bronco for much smaller (but just as challenging) off-road adventures.

Sporting iconic RTR Racing Ford Bronco styling the new remote control SUV is available on HPI’s website. It’s built on the company’s Venture18 chassis, featuring a formed steel C-channel chassis and realistic drivetrain design. That includes an all-metal two-speed transmission, fulltime locked differentials, four-link suspension front and rear, along with universal telescopic counter-rotating driveshafts.

All of those miniature off-road goodies are situated beneath an officially licensed Ford Bronco body. The remote control SUV is offered with two distinct liveries, including a bright lime green, blue, and galaxy-inspired Gittin livery or a red and gray Loren Healy paint scheme, both prominently displaying the RTR Racing logo.

The clipless body mounting system features a single twist-lock mechanism that keeps it all tacked down while making it easy to remove and replace the body as needed. However, the remote control Ford Bronco is touted as being ready-to-run – which, ironically, is also identified by the acronym RTR – meaning that it’s fully prepared to tackle the trail right out of the box.

As if its styling wasn’t enough to see its authenticity, the HPI Ford Bronco features a working light grille, along with a tube cage and interior. Said lights can be controlled with the vehicle’s remote control, featuring several selectable modes, including Day Mode, Dust Mode, and Dark Mode, providing varying levels of illumination. Buyers who want a little more light can opt for the Roof Light Kit for an extra cost, providing ultimate scale realism. There’s even a fully functional spare wheel mounted at the rear.

Pricing for the Venture18 U40 Ford Bronco 4400 model has not been revealed, and buyers must go through authorized dealers in order to acquire the no-nonsense remote control vehicle.
