The heavy-duty truck space has long been a hotly contested one, with the updated 2025 Ford Super Duty doing battle with the Ram HD, as well as the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra HD lineups. In that realm, many focus on max payload and towing capacities, as well as torque – for good reason, as the entire purpose of these vehicles is to haul and pull heavy loads. Up front, the 2025 Ford Super Duty Crew Cab provides occupants with 0.1 inches less in terms of front headroom and 0.4 inches less hip room compared to the Ram HD Mega Cab, but also, three more inches of legroom and 0.8 more inches of front shoulder space. In the rear, the Super Duty beats it on all fronts – 0.6 inches more headroom, 3.4 inches more legroom, 0.3 inches of shoulder space, and two inches of additional hip room.
The Silverado and Sierra both beat the 2025 Ford Super Duty in a couple of areas, however – front headroom and legroom, specifically – but trail the Blue Oval hauler in every other category. Regardless, this is great info for those that are looking for more space in the rear portion of the cab, which is something that the Ram HD Mega Cab was designed specifically to do.
