A strange 2025 Ford Bronco Sport build made the rounds not too long ago, piquing Ford Authority‘s attention. For all intents and purposes, the off-road crossover appeared to belong to The Blue Oval’s Raptor bloodline, judging by its exterior badging and generally aggressive look. Sadly, that particular model turned out to be a fake, thrown together by someone with a Bronco Sport and one hell of an imagination, but they sure went all-in, right down to its badging lifted from a legitimate Ford Ranger Raptor.
The supposed 2025 Ford Bronco Sport Raptor sported a slew of Raptor branded badges. Upon closer look, the bold Raptor script on the rear matches what’s seen on the Ranger Raptor’s tailgate, featuring the same twin slashed “Rs” and all. Whoever applied it did a damn good job, too. It’s perfectly level and looks like it was placed there in the factory like it belongs.
And then there’s the side badges. These are a bit more difficult to explain. They appear to be official Raptor emblems produced by Ford, featuring a matte black appearance with a claw mark underscoring the Raptor script. However, these badges are a little harder to find than the Ranger Raptor tailgate badge, since they’re not sold separately on Ford’s website. They’re available at dealers, though, so safe to say the owner of this 2025 Ford Bronco Sport put in the time to find them to make sure their crossover looked authentic.
The Bronco Sport “Raptor” was also fitted with a modified exhaust system, along with Husky Liners-finished fender flares to complete its mean, aggressive look. Even if it’s just for fun, there was clearly a lot of work, if not unhinged passion, that went into the build.
“This is our team having fun, not a Bronco Sport Raptor,” Ford Enthusiast Vehicles Communication Manager Brandon Turkus said in a statement. “Just like our customers, we encourage employees to leverage the customization superpowers of the Bronco family and continue to explore possibilities.”
Sales increased 18 percent to 28,230 units during the first seven months of 2025.
