Owners of sixth-generation Ford Bronco SUVs have plenty of ways they can beef up the suspension of those rides, both via the aftermarket and the Ford Performance catalog. In fact, in the latter realm, we’ve seen a bevy of parts added in recent months – including heavy-duty tie rod kits that replace the somewhat fragile factory parts, the beefed-up steering steering gear present in the H.O.S.S. 3.0 suspension system, and the same fuel tank skid plate present in the Bronco Raptor. Now, we can add yet another Ford Bronco suspension-related upgrade to the list.
That upgrade consists of two different Ford Bronco Wildtrak suspension kits, both of which were just added to the Ford Performance catalog. The first is specifically designed for two-door 2021-2025 Ford Bronco models, and is listed under part number M-18000-B2A with a retail price of $2,695. As for those that own a four-door sixth-generation Bronco, they can purchase the same sort of upgrade under part number M-18000-B2 for $2,835.
This new package is, in fact, the HOSS 3.0 system in a nutshell, previously present as standard equipment in the now-discontinued Wildtrak trim. It comes with a set of five-zone, rate-sensitive Fox 2.5-inch internal-bypass shocks with remote reservoirs, a beefier rear stabilizer bar, sway bar end links, and all of the necessary mounting hardware and fasteners. The kit provides approximately two inches of lift for non-Sasquatch Package equipped models, and thanks to its fancy shocks, improves ride quality in all conditions, too.
On top of that, this special suspension package improves off-road angles in a big way – front approach angles go from 35.5 degrees to 44.3, while the rear departure angle improves from 29.7 to 37 degrees. The Ford Bronco HOSS 3.0 suspension kit comes with the Ford Performance three-year, 36,000-mile warranty from new vehicle in-service date when installed by a Ford Dealer or ASE/Red Seal certified technician, too.
