1925 Ford Model T Cargo Truck Re-Creation Up For Auction

Ford trucks have performed many duties over their century-plus in existence, in addition to simply hauling things and pulling trailers for normal folks that use them as such. Rather, we've seen Blue Oval haulers decked out in custom liveries for many companies, delivering goods to consumers or other businesses, or perhaps even dishing out ice cream to eager folks on hot summer days. As for this 1925 Ford Model T, it may or may not have been used for commercial applications in its heyday, but it has been designed to look like it did, at least.

This 1925 Ford Model T cargo truck is currently up for auction at Hagerty, and the most obvious thing one will notice is that it's been adorned with "Snap-On" signage that pays homage to that famous line of tools. The whole thing is intended to replicate the look of an old hand tool sales cargo truck, which means that along with that signage, it's also equipped with a rear tool chest, coupled with a black exterior and a black vinyl top, plus "Blue-Point" graphics on the side.

If one lifts the rear gate, they'll find three wooden drawers carrying an assortment of hand tools, too, so this is more than just an appearance-focused exercise. Otherwise, this is a very nice Ford Model T in general, featuring black-painted 23-inch wood spoke wheels wrapped with Firestone tires, a set of running boards to help with ingress and egress, a split/hinged windshield, and a button-tufted black vinyl bench seat inside.

In terms of power, that comes from the 177 cubic-inch inline-four cylinder Ford engine mated to a planetary two-speed manual transmission. A modern radiator helps keep things cool under the hood, but there is some oil seepage - to be expected for such an old machine - along with faded paint, while the Stewart-Warner speedometer inside isn't currently working.

Otherwise, this 1925 Ford Model T is a cool piece of kit that's sure to attract attention everywhere it goes, making it a nifty target for anyone in the market for such a thing - or, a cool vintage tool hauler, at the very least.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.
