Ford trucks from the 1990s have become quite popular on the collector car auction circuit as of late, which isn’t terribly surprising given their handsome looks, simple nature, and inherent reliability. Oftentimes, those trucks are of the low-mile and bone stock variety, but we’ve also seen quite a few unique third-party builds and modified examples command plenty of attention, too. That’s sure to be the case with this 1995 Ford F-350 XLT, which is set to cross the auction block in just a couple of weeks.
This 1995 Ford F-350 is on the docket for Mecum’s upcoming 2025 Indy Fall Special sale that takes place in early October, and it is indeed a lower-mile model with 39,387 on the clock. It looks to be in fantastic shape as well, with bright red paint on the outside, along with a cab visor and lighting, fender flares, and plenty of chrome. The pickup sits a bit higher than stock, though the auction listing doesn’t state what sort of suspension upgrades it might have.
What we can see, aside from that extra height, is a set of 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped with 35-inch tires, giving this regular cab Ford F-350 a nice upgrade. Those wheels cover power brakes, and it’s also equipped with power steering to make it a bit easier to tool around the parking lot in.
Inside, one will find a super sanitary interior with gray cloth, and it looks basically as good as new with no noticeable flaws. There are quite a few amenities present for a vehicle of this vintage, too, including air conditioning, an AM/FM stereo with a CD player, cruise control, a tilt steering wheel, and power windows and door locks. Power for this Ford F-350 comes from the naturally-aspirated, fuel-injected Ford 460 cubic-inch V8, which in this case is mated to an automatic transmission and a transfer case, sending power to either the rear or all four wheels.
In addition to this very nice but mostly original Ford F-350, we recently spotted something much rarer – a 1996 F-350 Centaurus III, built by a company called LCM-Centaurus, a conversion manufacturer formerly based in Elkhart, Indiana.
