The refreshed Ford Territory debuted at the Interlagos Festival in São Paulo, Brazil, this past June, bringing forth a host of updates for the crossover that’s sold in a variety of global markets, in addition to South America. Regardless, it seems as if the updated 2026 Ford Territory isn’t quite done launching in those markets either, as mere months after it arrived in Argentina, the crossover has now debuted for the Mexican market as well.
In Mexico, the 2026 Ford Territory will be sold in three trim levels – Environment, Trend, and Titanium. It’s available in three new exterior colors – Oasis Green, Night Blue, and Stone Gray, in addition to the existing hues of Pearl White, Bright Gray, Bright Black, Arctic Blue, and Ruby Red.
The refreshed Ford Territory has received some styling updates in the form of a new front grille and bumper, along with redesigned headlights and taillights that tout full LED technology. Other notable standard exterior features include roof bars (finished in black for the SEL trim or Satin Gray for Titanium), a new shark fin antenna, body-color side mirrors with integrated turn signals, and body-color door handles. SEL models roll on new 18-inch alloy wheels, while the Titanium gets 19-inch rollers, chrome grille accents, power mirrors with puddle lamps, and chrome door handles.
Inside the cabin, the refreshed Ford Territory gets new micro-perforated leather seats, a 12-inch infotainment screen, and either a seven-inch or 12-inch digital instrument cluster in the SEL and Titanium, respectively. The more luxurious Titanium is also equipped with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats, a 10-way adjustable driver’s seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, rain-sensing wipers, and a panoramic sunroof.
In terms of power, that comes from the 1.8L EcoBoost engine, generating 185 horsepower and 320 Nm (236 pound-feet) of torque, flowing to the front wheels only via a seven-speed dual clutch gearbox. In Mexico, the 2026 Ford Territory starts out at $519,000 MXN ($28,077 USD).

And the reason this is not a US Edge (or Escape) replacement is?……
Incompetence……..
Why is this not being sold in the US? Looks like a direct replacement for the Edge!
Instead of looking at the market here and introducing vehicles like this that consumers would buy, the leadership at Ford is still married to the EV dream!
Farley, open your eyes, your customers do not want EV’s, they want vehicles like this!
Forget the Edge. This looks like what the next gen Escape should be, with not a 1.5l!
I have come to the conclusion that Ford does. To care about the USA market. China and elsewhere get all the new and updated vehicles , while the USA only get vehicle deletions . Think about it , lost the Fiesta, Focus, Fusion, Taurus, 500, Sable , MKZ, Continental, Edge and now the Escape/Corsair.
I will be switching to either GM or Hyundai for better quality and choices in vehicles and colors too. Ford has had nothing ew the past decade or more except the Bronco and odd looking clunky Bronco Sport
This vehicle is assembled in China. While the Lincoln Nautilus is also assembled in China, it is not a high-volume vehicle. I am sure Ford does not want to be importing a high-volume vehicle from Chine to the US.
Ford only has a limited number of assembly plants in North America. There is no way this vehicle could be assembled in a North America facility.
I don’t know if building this in the US is a good move or not, but I maintain that Ford has badly mismanaged their North American capacity. Under-utilized plants in Cuautitlan, Flat Rock, Oakville, and Ohio, new EV plants without products, the inability to build EVs and hybrids in the same plant, the list goes on. Even in the face of a changing market, they seem to have no strategy, only hasty reactions.
Come on JIM FARLEY: WHY? Is this vehicle not available in the US? As another mentioned how about an Edge replacement. Why do other country’s get a vehicle that looks great outside along with an awesome looking interior and we don’t get it here? I really hope someone @ FOMOCO reads these comments.
Also, Why don’t we get the Everest also, body on frame actual SUV built on same Ranger/Bronco chassis. Another really great looking truck. Go to: FORD.COM/AU to check it out peeps.
