Earlier this month, The Blue Oval announced that it would be rebranding its Ford Performance division back to Ford Racing, a move that coincides with its push to more closely align motorsports endeavors with performance-focused road-going models. Trouble is, that means that pretty much anything with Ford Performance on it is already now a bit, well, outdated, which isn’t great news for owners of certain products. Regardless, this new set of Ford Bronco wheels just hit the automaker’s catalog with a Ford Performance logo present.
This new Ford Bronco 17-inch gray wheel kit is listed for sale under part number M-1007K-B1785GR, with a retail price of $1,635. It’s designed to fit all sixth-generation Ford Bronco models – except for the high-performance Raptor – and includes a set of five wheels finished in Magnetic Gray with Ford Performance logos. The wheels measure in at 17 inches in diameter and 8.5 inches wide, with a 30mm offset. The wheel kit also includes five TPMS sensors, an activation tool, and five Bronco center caps.
Regardless of the interesting timing involved with this release, the sixth-generation Ford Bronco already has a wide array of wheel options available in The Blue Oval’s catalog, too. That already includes Method Racing wheels in all sorts of colors, including the newer Oxford White. Those Method wheels also fit all newer Bronco models except for the Raptor, and each set includes five Method 703 Bead Grip wheels – featuring technology that engages the tire’s bead to increase grip when tire pressure is lower, which is perfect for those that tend to travel off-road frequently.
Those looking for a different design can also get it via the Weld off-road wheel kit, which consists of the company’s 17×8.5-inch Cinch W104 wheel design in a black finish with a +30mm offset. Those wheels – once again – fit all sixth-generation Bronco models, save for the Raptor.
