Automotive crashes happen all the time, every day, multiple times a day. This problem only seems to be growing as well, but much of that can be attributed to the rise in distracted driving, among other factors. Luckily, more and more people are using dash cameras these days – and some vehicles even record their surroundings using built-in systems – which can be a very good thing when it comes time to prove who’s at fault, or file an insurance claim. Recently, that was once again the case when a Ford F-150 driver made a very bad decision.
In this video recently posted on Reddit, we get a first-person view of this incident as the camera car approaches a road as its driver looks to make a right turn. There is a red Ford F-150 on that same road, trying to turn left, but the driver clearly either misjudges the amount of time they have to execute that move, or simply doesn’t see the Chrysler heading in its direction in the left lane, as it could have been blocked by the camera car.
Thus, as the Ford F-150 driver is slowly making its way onto the road after failing to yield to oncoming traffic, the Chrysler smashes into it, causing a pretty nasty-looking accident. The person that posted the video did reveal that no one was seriously injured, at least, but both of the vehicles suffered major damage. In another side angle, we get a different view of the crash, which happened at pretty high speed and could have ended much worse.

Regardless, this is far from the first time we’ve seen a vehicle blow a stop sign or fail to yield to oncoming traffic with disastrous results. In fact, just last month, we were treated to footage of another Ford F-150 driver that rolled through a stop sign and sideswiped the car filming the whole thing, too.
