Ford Motor Company is recalling select 2021-2022 Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator SUVs, as well as 2021-2023 Ford F-150, and 2022 Ford Super Duty F-250, F-350, and F-450 models over a problem with the moonroof wind deflector.
The defect: in affected vehicles, the moonroof wind deflector clips may be inadequately attached to the moonroof frame, which can result in the wind deflector detaching from the vehicle.
The hazards: a detached wind deflector can become a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash.
Ford is not aware of any reports of accidents related to this condition, though two incidents have occurred where the wind deflector became detached and hit the driver.

Affected vehicles: select 2021-2022 Expedition models built between August 15th, 2021, and November 22nd, 2022, 2021-2022 Navigator models produced from August 10th, 2021, and November 12th, 2022, 2022 Super Duty F-250, F-350, and F-450 trucks produced from July 30th, 2021, and November 29th, 2022, and 2021-2023 F-150 pickups build between June 21st, 2021, and November 26th, 2022.
Number of vehicles affected: 174,853
The fix: dealers will will inspect and repair the moonroof wind deflector as necessary, free of charge.
Owners should: wait for communications from Ford, which will begin on November 3rd, 2025. The Ford reference number for this recall is 25SB7.
