2026 Ford Escape: All Available Colors

The 2026 Ford Escape is the end of the line for the long-running nameplate, but it still has some life left until it’s built out. The crossover continues to be offered with a choice of seven exterior colors, and Ford Authority rounds up everything you need to know about all of them.

Carbonized Gray

Agate Black

Vapor Blue

Rapid Red

Star White

Six of the colors offered on the 2026 Ford Escape are offered on all trims, including Active, ST-Line, ST-Line Select, ST-Line Elite, Platinum, and PHEV. Three of those colors are zero cost, including Carbonized Gray Metallic, Space Silver Metallic, and Agate Black Metallic. Meanwhile, the other three colors are extra-cost. Rapid Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat and Vapor Blue Metallic each cost $495 – and it’s worth noting that Vapor Blue was formerly a “free” color until the 2026 model year.

Star White Metallic Tri-Coat is the most expensive exterior paint on offer, priced at $995. Finally, Oxford White is the only color with limited availability. It’s a fleet-only color and is therefore limited to the Active trim. Note that Ford has not provided any photo of this hue.

Ford Authority has already outlined what packages are available on the 2026 Ford Escape, along with its selection of wheels.

With its unexpected return for one more model year, the 2026 Ford Escape gets a handful of changes and updates, headlined by the deletion of the front-wheel-drive (FWD) hybrid powertrain. The hybrid isn’t going away entirely; it’s simply now offered exclusively with all-wheel-drive (AWD).

However, the biggest news concerns the crossover’s emissions system. The 2026 Ford Escape is fitted with the 50-state emissions setup, which, contrary to its title, means that it can only be sold in states that haven’t adopted California standards. As such, buyers in California, Massachusetts, Oregon, New York, Washington, and Vermont will be unable to purchase the 2026 Escape. In fact, Ford alerts interested parties to this restriction on its website, directing them toward the 2025 Escape instead.

Those that can buy the 2026 Ford Escape can expect it to be a bit more expensive than its 2025 model year counterpart, starting at $30,350.

  1. Space Silver is kinda cool but overall, it’s the worst palette of any compact CUV.
