2026 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT California Special: Photo Gallery

The California Special is synonymous with the Ford Mustang family - considering it's been around since the pony car's first generation, offered on and off throughout the decades. The California Special edition is going all-electric, gracing the 2026 Ford Mustang Mach-E for the first time. We're showing you what that edition includes in the following photo gallery.

The 2026 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT California Special is instantly recognizable, standing apart from its stablemates with an exterior livery shot through with gray, blue, and black. This includes an illuminated Rave Blue running horse logo on the front "grille," along with a hood graphic inspired by the California coastline, featuring offset stripes meant to invoke an image of the horizon over the ocean. The 20-inch Carbonized Gray wheels feature GT/CS logos (for GT California Special, obviously), clad in gloss black aero wheel covers.

Inside, the 2026 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT California Special gets Navy Pier ActiveX and Miko-upholstered performance seats, adorned with a reflective blue and silver stripe. Those units are joined by the same Navy Pier ActiveX material on the center console and steering wheel, a detailed carried through right down to the silver and blue detailing on the floor mats.

As for power, the 2026 Ford Mustang Mach-E California Special doles out a healthy 480 horsepower and 700 pound-feet of torque from dual electric motors, with 280 miles of EPA-rated range.

The 2026 Mustang Mach-E GT California Special adds $2,495 to the GT's base price of $53,395. Order banks opened on October 22nd along with the rest of the 2026 Mach-E lineup, and deliveries are expected to begin in Q1 2026.

As a reminder, the California Special package was introduced for the Ford Mustang pony car's seventh generation, debuting as an aesthetic package with bright blue accents intersperse throughout the interior and exterior. That package held on through the 2025 model year before being discontinued for the 2026 Mustang - but it lives on, obviously, on the 2026 Ford Mustang Mach-E.
