56K Ford, Lincoln Vehicles Recalled Over Windshield Air Bubbles

The defect: in affected vehicles, the windshield glass may have visible air bubbles, which can obscure the driver's visibility. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 205, "Glazing Materials."

Comments

  1. It's like Ford and/or their suppliers are inventing new defects for common manufactured parts that have been in the industry for many, MANY decades with no mention of issues (nor should there be). Lug nuts was bad enough, now windshields?

  2. So much for the Ford Plant quality control check points.
Just pump ‘em out and let the dealers fix the issue.
