Ford Motor Company has just released info on six new, custom hot hatch concepts that will be coming to the 2016 SEMA Show next month in Las Vegas, and there’s plenty to be excited for.
As you might imagine, the new Ford Focus RS is the most popular basis for the SEMA hot hatch concepts this year, representing three of the six custom builds shown here. The cars have been prepared by Full-Race Motorsports, H&R Special Springs, and Roush Performance. Two Ford Focus STs, built by Cinemotive and Blood & Grease, will also be present, alongside a Ford Fiesta ST from Tucci Hot Rods.
Detailed descriptions of each Ford hot hatch are still forthcoming, but in the meantime, you can get a sneak peek at each of the six custom cars in the video above. Looking at how aftermarket firms have managed to modify and enhance Ford’s hot hatch lineup from the “humble” Fiesta ST all the way up through the elite Ford Focus RS, one thing is abundantly clear: there’s seldom been a better time to be a hot hatch fan.
