Ford Motor Company is recalling certain F-150 Raptor pickup trucks over a structural integrity issue causing an increased risk of injury during a rollover crash.

The defect: the structural roof braces may be missing rivets at the attachment of the roof rail, thereby reducing the structural integrity.

The hazards: if the structural integrity is reduced, there may be an increased risk of injury during a rollover crash.

Affected vehicles: 2018 Ford F-150 Raptor Super Cab pick-up trucks not equipped with a moonroof.

Number of vehicles affected: 39 units (United States figure).

The fix: Ford will notify owners, and dealers will install the rivets for the roof brace attachments, free of charge. The recall began October 16th, 2017.
