Ford Transit Discount Offers Non-Existent During April 2022

The Blue Oval does not seem to be offering any Ford Transit discount offers during April 2022.

The lack of Ford Transit discount offers during April, 2022 is likely the result of healthy demand and tight supply, as Ford navigates ongoing supply chain constraints, including but not limited to the microchip shortage which is estimated to last another few months. In fact, the Transit has faced various production constraints over the past year.

It is also worth noting that the Ford Transit continues to see healthy demand, ending the 2021 calendar year as the best-selling model in its segment with a 36 percent market share. The runner-up was the Ram ProMaster with a substantially lower 26 percent share.

Similarly, the Transit's electric counterpart, the 2022 Ford E-Transit, attracted quite a bit of interest from commercial customers following its reveal last year, racking up 24,000 reservations in just a few months. As a result, it appears that Ford is in no rush to incentivize its best-selling van.
