2012 Ford Super Duty Chassis Cab With 9K Miles Up For Auction

The Ford Super Duty is a workhorse. In other words, it’s used and abused for heavy duty work, so it’s extremely rare when low-mileage examples pop up for sale – although it does happen. There’s a 2012 Super Duty XLT chassis cab currently up for sale, and it’s hardly broken in.

Showing just 9,000 miles racked up over its life, this 2012 Ford Super Duty chassis cab is currently for sale on Bring a Trailer. It was previously owned by the Southern California Edison power company, and is said to have once featured a heavy duty utility bed that has since been removed. The pickup is finished in Oxford White, a prime choice for fleet vehicles, and is fitted with a dually rear axle. Other exterior features include fog lights, roof clearance lights, running boards, front tow hooks, and power-adjustable heated trailer-tow side mirrors.

The heavy duty vehicle rides on a set of 19.5-inch steel wheels wrapped in Michelin tires showing a 2023 date code. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel ventilated disc brakes and ABS. Meanwhile, inside, the bucket seats are wrapped in Steel colored cloth, and interior appointments include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, cruise control, power windows, power door locks, and an AM/FM stereo.

Power is sourced from the turbodiesel 6.7L Power Stroke V8, which was factory rated at 300 horsepower and 660 pound-feet of torque. That power is delivered to the rear two wheels by way of its six-speed automatic transmission, which features power takeoff provisions.

If this particular 2012 Ford Super Duty looks familiar, that’s because it’s a relist – it originally sold in early June 2025, but is back up for grabs after the winning bidder backed out of the purchase. The seller notes that this was not due to any fault of the vehicle itself, and states that the former winning bidder’s ability to participate in future auctions has been restricted and that their buyer’s fee was not refunded.

At the time of this writing, the high bid is $2,345, and the auction will wrap up on July 2nd, 2025 – and hopefully, this time, the Ford Super Duty will actually find a new home.
