2023-2025 Ford Super Duty 7.3L V8 Sport Exhaust Systems Revealed

Though it just debuted in the Ford Super Duty a few years ago, the 7.3L V8 Godzilla has quickly gained its fair share of fans, and for good reason. There are simply a lot of people that prefer an old fashioned, simple, naturally-aspirated, pushrod V8 instead of more complicated overhead cam engines and smaller-displacement alternatives with forced induction. As such, The Blue Oval continues to expand its Ford Performance catalog to add parts for these Godzilla-powered pickups.

Ford Super Duty pickups with the Godzilla V8 first gained a sport exhaust system years ago, but now, two new options have been added to the Ford Performance catalog as well. Both feature a side-exit profile, as well as a distinctive finish for the tips – part number M-5200-FSDC is finished in chrome, while M-5200-FSDB is black. Otherwise, these sets of pipes are essentially identical in every way, including their price tag – $1,525, though unfortunately, FoMoCo hasn’t yet released any photos of these exhaust systems.

Both of these new Ford Super Duty Godzilla sport side-exit exhaust systems are designed to fit 2023-2025 models with that particular engine and the 148-inch wheelbase. Each is made in the U.S. from high-quality 304 stainless steel, featuring smooth mandrel bends, warp-free flanges, and “superior craftsmanship,” according to The Blue Oval. Both of the exhaust systems are tuned specifically to provide owners with a more aggressive and throaty high-performance sound, which is something that V8 fans tend to covet.

Given how incredibly popular upgraded exhaust systems are these days, we wouldn’t be surprised if these new side-exit sport systems prove to be quite popular with Ford Super Duty Godzilla owners. After all, there’s certainly nothing wrong with wanting a bit more of a sporty sound from that old fashioned powerplant, even if the Super Duty itself isn’t exactly what anyone would consider to be a high-performance machine that’s going to win its fair share of stoplight drag races.

  1. I really dislike the big throbbing exhaust pipes coming from all of the V8 pick up trucks. They are too loud and the exhaust cause right to the car next to them.
