When you’re driving in an unfamiliar area, wrong turns are inevitable. But sometimes, it’s better to commit to an incorrect turn than to chicken out on one – although, apparently, the driver of one Ford Focus failed to get that memo.
The Reddit community r/IdiotsInCars is a hotbed for questionable decisions behind the wheel, and this Ford Focus driver certainly fits the bill. The dashcam footage shows the action already underway, in which a Ford Focus that clearly didn’t want to turn right cut out of the turn lane and back into traffic.
From there, though, things just get worse. The driver of the Ford Focus slows down to the point that it appears they’re going to stop – but they don’t. Instead, while the cammer questions all of their own life choices because of the braindead actions of the silver Focus in front of them, said Focus turns on their righthand blinker.
Turns out, the Ford Focus did need to make a right turn after all. As slow as can be, almost like they’re about ready to step on the brakes at any given moment. They’re that unsure of their own actions. Slowly, carefully, they make that same right turn that they were trying to avoid earlier. And all the while, the cammer vocally questions the driver dumb enough to pull such a move.
There’s a saying among online driving communities: a good driver misses an exit or turn while a bad driver never does. In fact, not too long ago, the person behind the wheel of a Ford F-150 made their indecision everyone else’s problem, swerving between traffic while they debated which exit to actually take. Meanwhile, a different Ford Focus driver also botched a turn, completely ignoring the lines painted in the road and almost causing a crash while they were at it.

Actually, 3 stupid choices. The first one was to buy a Ford Focus.
