Lincoln MKX Driver Spectacularly Fails To Yield: Video

It certainly seems like car crashes are becoming more and more prevalent these days, typically caused by distracted drivers or other very much preventable actions. Of course, this could just seem like the case because more and more people have dash cameras that record these incidents, after which they’re oftentimes posted online for the world to see. We certainly come across our fair share of crash videos involving Blue Oval vehicles of all types on a regular basis, and that now includes a rather impatient Lincoln MKX driver.

In this video recently posted to Reddit, we get a first-person view of this accident via the victim’s dash camera. They’re just tooling on down the road like normal, entering a construction zone, when a red vehicle pulls out in front of them with not a ton of space available. However, that isn’t the worst part – it’s at this point that a Lincoln MKX traveling in the other direction opts to try and turn left, and that’s when disaster strikes.

There’s not even close to being enough room to make this turn safely, nor for the victim to avoid a collision, and as such, the vehicle smashes directly into the side of the Lincoln MKX, seemingly causing considerable damage to both vehicles. It’s either a case of the MKX driver completely lacking patience, not seeing the other vehicle, or believing that they had enough time to make the turn. No matter the case, it was a terrible decision, to say the least.

Unfortunately, this is far from the first time we’ve seen such an incident occur, not to mention involve a Blue Oval vehicle of some sort. We watched the driver of a Ford Super Duty dually take out a Mazda Protege in an attempt to turn left while failing to yield not too long ago, as well as a Ford Explorer driver that nearly caused an accident when making an ill-advised left turn, too.
