Ford Motor Company is recalling select 2024-2025 Lincoln Nautilus crossovers over a window pinching issue that were repaired incorrectly under recall 24V953.

The hazards: a closing window may exert excessive force by pinching a driver or passenger before retracting, increasing the risk of injury.
Ford is not aware of any reports of accidents or injuries related to this condition.
Components: window automatic reversal system
Affected vehicles: select 2024-2025 Lincoln Nautilus models built at the Changan Ford Hangzhou Assembly Plant between September 26th, 2022, and November 20th, 2024.

I drove four hours in a rental car to pick up our Nautilus Reserve II hybrid. Upon arrival the dealer indicated they had just received a Lincoln recall and they could not sell it. They scrambled around and found two 2025 hybrids they offered us in its place. We ended up purchasing a 2025 Reserve III hybrid at 12% off MSRP!
