There’s quite a bit of misinformation floating around the automotive sector of the internet, and Ford Authority is here to set the record straight. This time, we searched up “2026 Ford Bronco Sport,” and were disappointed with the results, to say the least.
Google’s AI overview is the culprit, as usual. Right away, it spits out completely made-up “facts” about the supposed forthcoming model. It says that it will feature an upgraded exterior, and, hilariously, a Tremor off-road package. “This newly available package pushes off-road availability further with a lifted suspension, all-terrain tires, front and rear locking differentials, and a heavy duty front bumper.” Which is all well and good – except the 2026 Ford Bronco Sport doesn’t need any of that equipment; it’s plenty off-road capable as-is.
It also claims that the 2026 Ford Bronco Sport will get a “bolder” and “more aggressive” look than the 2025 refresh, which is simply not true. It wouldn’t make sense for a model to receive another refresh so soon after one. That means it’s not getting new exterior paint colors like Google’s AI suggests, either – sorry, Forest Green and Sunburst Orange aren’t on the way.
The AI overview also claims that it the 2026 Bronco Sport will get a digital instrument cluster, which is also false, as is the supposed redesigned center console, which will just “offer more storage space.” It is also supposed to get “better materials” in the interior – whatever that means – and a digital instrument cluster, which is supposedly replacing the outgoing “analog” model.
Google’s AI also bizarrely claims that the 2026 Ford Bronco Sport will get a standard twin-clutch rear drive unit, which… the off-road crossover certainly won’t. The unit is already part of the Sasquatch Package on Outer Banks and is standard on Badlands. We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but none of that is true, and the 2026 Bronco Sport will stay the course as far as things go, maintaining the status quo.
Google did pass the test on the 2026 Ford Bronco, correctly identifying the changes and updates headed for that model, although the same can’t be said for its thoughts on the 2027 Bronco.
Automakers have shelled out hundreds of millions for violations in recent years.
Another unique way to get out on the trails.
Before a more thorough redesign in 2029.

Well, it needs SOMETHING very soon if it's to take the place of the Escape. Like another foot in length...
If this is bogus info, why do you guys publish it?
