Final Ford GT MK IV Orders Officially Underway

The Blue Oval revealed the Ford GT MK IV as the supercar’s final send-off, and now, the GT era is finally drawing to a close. Ford Performance is now gathering orders for the final wave of GT MK IV production.

The final run will be produced in extremely limited numbers. Each example will be built to order, and interested parties must act fast, as inquiries are only being taken until October 15th, 2025. Designed and built in partnership with Multimatic Motorsports, the MK IV features advanced tech that can seamlessly transition to the track.

As its nameplate implies, the Ford GT MK IV draws heavily from the GT race cars that finished first and third at the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans, although it’s treated to a completely new body, powertrain, and suspension engineered to deliver peak on-track prowess.

Under the hood, the Ford GT MK IV packs the twin-turbocharged 3.8L EcoBoost V6, lending it more power than its GTLM race car counterparts. That powerhouse delivers over 820 horsepower, routed to the pavement by way of an advanced clutch, paddle shifters, and six-speed gearbox that exceeds the tech enjoyed by the Le Mans racers almost a decade ago.

The Ford GT MK IV is capable of 2,400 pounds of downforce at 150 mph, pulling over 3g in the corners. Ford Performance boasts that the MK IV lays down a faster lap time than the original Ford GT GTLM race car did – even with non-professional drivers at the controls.

Acquiring a Ford GT MK IV isn’t easy. In fact, only 67 examples of the supercar have been produced thus far. Ford Performance and Multimatic collaborated on a premium customer experienced via the Multimatic On Track experience, which includes a private track day for owners, plus factory technical and trackside support. Each owner is entitled to one-on-one coaching from professional drivers, along with full engineering and technical support.
