Ford F-150 Decides To Make Right Turn From Left Lane: Video

Typically, if one is sitting in the left turn lane, it’s a good indicator that they intend to turn, you know, left. But the driver of a Ford F-150 apparently didn’t understand how said turn lanes work, because they decided at the last possible second that they weren’t going to turn left. In fact, they wanted to turn right, and took off across oncoming traffic to get there.

The driver who recorded the video shared it on r/IdiotsInCars on Reddit, which is an appropriate title for this video. The cammer – that is, the one whose dashcam caught the incident – is traveling in the far right lane on a four-lane highway, shown approaching an intersection. The Ford F-150 is sitting in the leftmost lane in front of another vehicle, and right as the cammer enters their orbit, that’s when they decide to make their boneheaded move.

Video still of the Ford F-150 that decided the best place to turn right from was the left-hand turn lane. Thankfully, no accident ocurred.

The Ford F-150 suddenly sticks its nose to the right. The cammer hesitates, trying to predict the pickup’s next move – and then the F-150 lunges across traffic, apparently deciding they needed to turn right instead of left. Thankfully, they don’t hit the cammer, but they come damn close as they cross two lanes of oncoming traffic. Clearly, the pickup’s driver didn’t bother to check to make sure they were clear before turning right. This time, it went well, but they’re lucky they didn’t get broadsided by another driver who couldn’t stop in time.

It could have been worse, really. Several other Ford F-150 drivers have been caught on dashcam putting themselves in serious danger for seemingly no reason. One F-150 managed to pit itself by changing lanes across another driver’s nose before flipping several times – and another F-150 driver decided to deliver a little “street justice” and endangered a fellow motorist by running them off the road in a fit of road rage.
