A rather strange example of the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport surfaced not too long ago. The off-road crossover was kitted out with even more off-road goodies than the “regular” variant, making it worthy of the Raptor nameplate, seemingly confirmed by the Raptor branding affixed to its sides and rear. Turns out, that model was just the result of a creative mind at Ford and not indicative of a real-life variant, and upon closer inspection, there’s one major sign that the model was fake all along.
Let’s be real for a second: this 2025 Ford Bronco Sport “Raptor” looks pretty damn convincing, as long as you don’t look too hard at the rear quarter panel. It’s emblazoned with the “Sasquatch” logo. Considering that the graphics package seen here requires the optional Sasquatch Package, which is exclusive to the Bronco Sport Outer Banks and Badlands, it’s a clear indicator that this off-road crossover is not a Raptor.
Across The Blue Oval’s lineup, Raptor is positioned as its own trim level, and it’s unlikely that a Bronco Sport Raptor would have any use for the off-road Sasquatch Package if it were real. It would be redundant. We appreciate this Bronco Sport owner’s attention to detail, but they should have removed the Sasquatch branding if they really wanted to sell it as a “Raptor” trimmed model.
Overall, though, this 2025 Ford Bronco Sport “Raptor” is well-equipped. It’s fitted with a lift kit and meaty off-road tires, fender flares, and a new exhaust system. Its Raptor badging is lifted right from real-life Raptor models, too, applied in such a way that it looks factory accurate.
Whatever the case, a Bronco Sport Raptor variant would be a departure for Ford’s off-road lineup. Real Raptor models ride on body-on-frame platforms, while the Bronco Sport is underpinned by a unibody platform – although there might be a case for adding unibody models to the Raptor bloodline.

YOU might find this worthy of obsessing over, but the rest of us are just eye-rolling all about it.
The Bronco Sport was a sign this Raptor was fake.
It has manufacturer license plates, so the owner is Ford. If it is a test mule for a potential Raptor trim, it is not outside the realm of possibility that Ford used a Sasquatch package Bronco Sport as a basis for their prototype...and they wouldn't go through the trouble of removing Sasquatch decals just for testing. While it may ultimately be a fake, just because it also has Sasquatch decals on it doesn't automatically mean it is just some accessories catalog special with eBay Raptor badges stuck on it. The Mothman sticker on the rear window is actually hilarious...
