It may seem hard to believe, but the Ford Super Duty debuted for the 1999 model year, and is a relatively new product compared to its F-Series counterpart, the F-150. Regardless, that still makes the Super Duty a ripe age for collectors, particularly since there presumably aren’t too many out there that haven’t been used for hard work and then disposed of with loads of miles on the clock. Recently, we’ve seen a few low-mile Super Duty pickups surface for sale, and that now includes this very nice 2003 Ford F-250, too.
This 2004 Ford F-250 Super Duty pickup is currently up for auction over at Bring a Trailer with 13k miles on the clock, and it’s a true workhorse configuration with a regular cab and long bed. It’s finished in Oxford White with a chrome brush guard up front, along with fog lights, telescoping trailer mirrors, diamond plate running boards, a receiver hitch, a bedliner, chrome bumpers, auxiliary lights, and halogen headlights. It rolls on 16-inch alloy wheels wrapped with 265/75 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires.
Inside, one will find a basic and tidy interior fitted with Medium Flint cloth seating, coupled with amenities such as cruise control, air conditioning, a Prodigy trailer brake controller, a CD/cassette stereo, and rubber floormats.
Power comes from the naturally-aspirated gas 6.8L Triton V10, which was factory rated to produce 355 horsepower and 455 pound-feet of torque and is mated to a four-speed automatic transmission, driving either the rear or all four wheels. Equipped with the FX4 Off-Road Package, this Ford F-250 also features Bilstein shocks underneath, which – along with the front sway bar links – were replaced by the seller recently.
In addition to this Ford F-250, we’ve also spotted a couple of other nice Super Duty trucks from this era as of late. That list includes another 2003 model, also an F-250 that has a mere 39k miles on the clock when it popped up for sale roughly a year ago.
Expanding that lineup yet again.
A way to potentially help avoid obstructions in wet weather.
Increasing a bit compared to the past couple of quarters.
A massive project, but one certainly worth undertaking.
Most companies are transitioning workers back to the office, too.
While the overall market posted a sharp increase in issues.

Nice truck, one correction: this generation of the 6.8 V10 has factory ratings of 310 hp and 425 torque. The second generation of the 6.8 (2008 I believe) had the output figures you quoted. I’ve had 2000 & 2003 SDs with this engine and it punches above its weight for sure!
