Ford Mustang Custom Garage Packages Are On The Way

Back at the 2024 SEMA Show last November, The Blue Oval unveiled what it calls Ford Custom Garage, which is designed to offer owners an easy way to customize their ride in a variety of ways, whether that be appearances or performance, via limited-edition packages that will evolve over time. The first two Ford Custom Garage packages were reserved for the Ford Bronco, but have since expanded to include the Ford F-150. Now, it seems like we're on the verge of getting some Ford Mustang Custom Garage packages, too.

The Ford Custom Garage official website was recently updated and now shows that Ford Mustang packages are "coming soon," though for now at least, there are no additional details available, nor photos of what those packages might consist of. However, we can look to existing Ford Custom Garage packages for the Bronco and F-150 for some clues, at least.

Each package is designed by Ford’s Vehicle Personalization and Performance Parts teams to provide a perfect fit, are covered by the automaker’s new vehicle warranty, and can be serviced by any Ford dealer in the U.S. or an ASE-certified shop. Along with Matte Black and Sinister Bronze packages that add a variety of parts finished in those colors, the Bronco can also be upgraded with the newer beach-ready Coastal Package, too. As for the F-150, its new Dark Trail package includes both visual enhancements and an off-road suspension upgrade.

“Our customers want to make their vehicles all their own through upgrades that reflect their personal style and the latest trends,” said Kim Mathers, director of Ford Vehicle Personalization and Performance Parts. “Our team is constantly listening to customers and hunting for new trends we can offer as limited-edition Ford Custom Garage packages through our dealers – with every part designed and tested to our factory standards for peace of mind and easy installation.”

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.

  1. Will the Ford performance parts be available to current F150 owners for purchase without voiding there warranties? Also being a retired mechanic can I install them myself without voiding my warranty on my 2022 F150 xl with the coyote v8 and 10 speed automatic?
